Inktober Trip to the UK

Inktober Trip Header

Hey guys! What’s up? I’ve recently come from a 10 days trip to the UK and I’d like to share some of my artistic progress I did during this trip. First of all I should say it was super intense – me and my wife had only ten days and we’ve made it to London, […]

Shaman’s Hut Concept Sketches – Digital Paintings

Shaman’s Hut Sketch Preview by Andrei Verner

Hey guys! Long time no see? Huh? Well, I had some hard reasons. Long story short I’ve got a light concussion after a car accident on my way from Moscow to St. Petersburg. The car is wasted but me and my wife are relatively OK. It was my first car accident and my first concussion in this life so it is quite an interesting experience :) Check out the post to see what my altered brain is still capable of haha!

Magic Mushroom God – Character Design

Magic Mushroom God - Character Design

Hey everyone! This post is going to be about magic mushrooms. Well… not about growing or consuming but about a fictional Magic Mushroom God character I’m working on for my personal project. Check out the post to find some sketches and vector version of this dude!

Recently read Books: Dharma in Hell and A Year to Live

Recently read books

Hey guys! Today I’d like to tell you about two books I’ve read recently. The first one is called “Dharma in Hell. The Prison Writings of Fleet Maull” and the second book is called “A Year to Live: How to Live This Year as If It Were Your Last”. Check out the post for my short review of these two awesome books!

Travel into Bartending

Hey guys! I hope you are all doing great :) You know I’ve been travelling a lot during last years. Well, who has not? But when you go somewhere for a long term you either have to save some cash before the travel or find a way to earn it during your trip. I’ve heard from many people that you digital artists, programmers, web-marketers and all other sorts of digital nomads are lucky to have this opportunity to work from almost any place you go. Check out the post to see what else you can do beside sitting all day in front of a laptop!

How to start a personal art collection

Hey everyone. This is another lifestyle post and the topic is collecting art. Being honest I’ve never thought of it before till few days ago when I’ve found out about invaluable.com (guys who connect collectors and artists). Within the post you will find my thoughts on how I would start a collection myself.

My Ecobricking experience

Hey guys! This post is not very much related to art but it is about something that both bothers me and has a solution. Plastic waste. We now live on Bali and there is so much plastic around… In our neighbourhood locals do not collect plastic garbage for recycling. Instead they burn it right in front of their houses. Check out the post to find out what I’m doing in these circumstances.

Trip to Gili Air Burning Island 2016

Several days ago we’ve come back from Burning Island 2016 (do not confuse with Burning Man haha). The party took place on Gili Air – a small island in Indonesia about 2 hours boat trip from Bali. Really cool experience I should say :) Within the post are some pictures my wife took. Enjoy!

New March 2016 Customer

Hey guys! I’m looking for new customers again! Usually new customers come by themselves every one or two months and sometime I’m so busy with my current projects that I can not pick up new ones. This month tends to be less busy so here is the deal: if you’d like me to make one illustration for you for free, please send me an email with all the details to verner.andrei@gmail.com.

A short review on Venus Project movie “The Choice is Ours”

Hey guys! A couple of days ago I’ve got an email from Kickstarter telling me that the Venus project’s movie “The Choice is Ours” was released. Being honest I’ve forgotten I was participating in this campaign so it was a pleasant surprise for me. So this post is going to be some sort of a review of the movie.

My Instagram feed

Hey everyone! I just wanted to tell you’ve finally made myself to set up Instagram account and start uploading some stuff to it. I try to keep it interesting so the two main themes are my artworks (finished designs and sketches – some of them will be on Instagram only) and nature (landscapes, insects and other stuff). Follow me and enjoy :)

Some recent info about my site

Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing great. I just wanted to tell you that I’ve cancelled email subscription for this site. I have been sending emails for about 2 years and frankly got very little response :). I’ve decided that I better save some time and money and make more art to share with you rather than sending these letters. I’ve backed up the subscribers list so if I decide to start sending emails again you won’t have to subscribe again if you already had. Anyway, more artworks for my portfolio and products in my shop are coming up this month so stay tuned!

New January 2015 Customer

Hey everyone! I’m looking for new customers again :) You might remember the similar post I wrote about a month ago. After I’ve posted it I’ve got 3 emails. Fortunately one of the guys who emailed me decided to collaborate on a commercial basis right away, the other one was my old-time reader that I really loved to help and the third one is a young musician who needs an album cover.<>

New December 2014 Customer

Hi everyone! I’m looking for new customers (I enjoy working with my current ones but I want more! Ha-ha!), so here is a deal: if you’d like me to make an illustration, send an email to grebenru@gmail.com with subject “New December 2014 Customer” and a short description of the project. I’ll pick one person who gonna get the work done for free (!!!) on December 1st. Everyone else will get a friendly quote for their projects.

Few days ago I made the photos of chameleon and snakes t-shirts with the real reptiles. It was so cool to meet old and new friends who have helped me with these photo sessions! Thanks guys!
