Hey guys! Today I’d like to show you my recent artwork for Earth Star. It’s a flyer for their upcoming psychedelic trance party called “Harmonic Waves”. The flyer was made from scratch and I did not use any references or stock images – what I usually do while making art for flyers. This one is 100% vector. My girlfriend told me about a plugin for Adobe Illustrator MirrorMe. It’s very useful for creating patterns, ornaments, fractal-like art and other sorts of trippy designs. I highly recommend it if you are into doing psychedelic art!

Hey guys! Today I’d like to show one of my recent t-shirt designs and several sketches. About a month ago I decided to make a set of designs dedicated to different types of sufferings creatures face in different worlds of Samsara. According to Buddhist and Hindu cosmology there are 3 lower and 3 upper realms: various hells, hungry ghost’s realm, animal’s realm, human world, demigod’s realm and heavens where gods live. The problem with Samsara is that one’s mind experiences suffering even if he’s living in heaven.
So I’ve made several sketches and started doing digital version of the first one – Shalmali bonsai tree. Shalmali forest is one of many locations in hell and it’s famous for the trees that hurt creatures and iron-beaked crows that peck eyes of the ones who are reborn there. My girlfriend said that no one gonna wear the tees with such designs, but I still wanted to make ‘em. Well… after I’ve finished the first one I was convinced my idea was not the best one. Below is the only design I’ve made and several sketches.

Hey guys! Here comes a new set of t-shirts. It’s called “The pets I will not own”. I really adore these creatures but my nomadic style of life does not allow to keep such kind of pets. The other thing that bothers me even more is that you should feed them with living creatures. Literally. This is more than I can handle… ha-ha :) Anyway, I decided to make some art with ’em.

Today I went to the print shop that I’ve started to collaborate with recently. We’ve printed one Gandhi tee that turned out to be not as bright as the previous version and Cheshire Cat that looked very much the same as if it was printed with fluorescent paint. Still they are not glowing in UV light.
