Some time ago Jon Clark, the wonderful psychedelic rock and folk musician, has asked me to make the design for his new album “One Long Skid”. I really enjoyed the time we’ve been working on this project and I’m glad we have more stuff to do together in future. Come inside the post to see how the package and the CD itself were designed!

Check out my new psychedelic T-shirt design “Aztec meeting”! This is semi-traditional Aztec design T-shirt with lots of characters and details: skulls, snakes, mushrooms and supernatural beings. Hopefully I’d have a chance to print a small pack of T-shirts (about 50 items) with fluorescent paint.

Yesterday I’ve posted some photographs from the psychedelic art exhibition we’ve held on music and art festival Pustye Holmy 2011 (Пустые Холмы 2011). Within today’s post you’ll find the showcase of the psychedelic artworks featured in our exhibition: drawings, fractals, paintings and illustrations.

This post is a showcase of sweet, colorful and psychedelic artworks by Mary Winkler (aka Acrylicana). She is an illustrator/designer from Detroit, Michigan. Mary creates her art using different media: digital – raster and vector and analog – acrylic, watercolor and ink. Her art is cute and trippy at the same time which makes it so attractive and fascinating.

The Smashing Magazine has release it’s February 2011 wallpaper collection. My entry has also been featured! It’s entitled “Join the Party!”.
